The VFA Summer Games 2026 run June 22-26 in Las Vegas, featuring an opening ceremony, multi-sport competitions, and a closing celebration. The event is organized by Vegas For Athletes and focuses on youth sports alongside free ECG heart screenings for athletes.
The Opening Ceremony and Parade of athletes take place June 22 at the Kellogg-Zaher Soccer Complex with live entertainment, food vendors, and games. Competition days are scheduled June 24-26 across basketball, flag football, hockey, pickleball, soccer, taekwondo, volleyball, and tennis at venues throughout Las Vegas. The games conclude June 26 with a glow-in-the-dark Closing Celebration at Cowabunga Bay Water Park.
Vegas for Athletes aims to make heart screening a standard part of youth sports after identifying life-threatening conditions in seven of 632 screened athletes since 2024. The festival also includes over $100,000 in scholarships and prizes for participating student-athletes.
